About Lynne Susanne
My name is Lynne Sanchez. I also use See Beauty LS as my signature and business title. I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have lived here my whole life. When I was young, I had always dreamt of becoming an artist. As I grew up, life sent me on a wild ride with many challenges, but also with great inspiration and love. My dream of becoming a professional artist found its way back to me now in my 40’s. I am very grateful for every day that I am able to paint and for every painting/print that is sold. I am self taught, and still finding my way in my professional career and in life.
I hold a B.S. and M.A. degree in Elementary Education. I was a teacher for many years. I dearly love my two children and all of my family and friends. I also love to meet new people and make connections. If we ever cross paths, please introduce yourself to me. It would be a joy to talk to someone who has been looking at my artwork.
I see art as a beautiful outlet to self expression and imagination. All art is a unique creation, and there is no wrong way to do it. Art is magnificent for the artist as they draw from within to create it, and art continues to touch others as they view it. With today’s technology and the far reaching internet, art can be spread without limits, so the impact can be greater than ever before. Art is noncompetitive as there are as many types and styles as there are people creating art. I am thrilled to be in a community of artists where I can be inspired and touched by their art, and they can of mine too. Together we can all draw in art lovers who then choose and purchase the art that speaks to them.
For my art, I play with color. I love to use the tones of color to create depth, but then use a very large array of colors to create a unique style. I use quick brush strokes, layering the colors, creating a dynamic arrangement where the colors contrast against each other. I choose to paint uplifting subjects that would give a feeling of joy and inspiration. My first series to paint was my Rainbow Ponies. I chose this because as a young girl, I used to love to paint and draw horses. I already knew how to do the shapes, and so for this series, I was able to really play with color. Horses for many people are a source of beauty, freedom, strength, and excitement. I also choose to paint God’s precious creations like flowers, the sky, water, and landscapes. Just looking at nature’s beauty can give a feeling of serenity and magnanimity. Finally, my most favorite art subjects are those that hold very special meaning for someone. These can be a portrait of a dearly loved child or a painting that invokes the feelings of reverence or gratitude. I plan to always paint pictures that can capture life’s most beautiful treasures and express our deepest emotions.
Wishing you happiness,
Lynne Sanchez
